Pan Pastel UK Challenge ~ Pink and White

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!
It`s time for the new challenge over at
the theme for the next two weeks is
" Pink and White "
be sure to head over to the main blog to check out the prize and all the details here.
So happy to be back and sharing a little canvas with you all today, with my love of using Pan Pastels as watercolour paint on a little canvas.
A quick doodle doo and it was time to mix the PP with a little water to make it fluid. Once dry I added a few dotty dots using a white gel pen.
Now to let it tell it`s story . . .  yep I have to have a story for my canvas from girls to balloons, lol!
A quick type on the computer, printed off, snipped it out and it was ready to be fixed in place with a little Maimeri Matt Gel to finish.

I was inspired by the talented Danielle Donaldson, oh my . . . swoooon her art is gorgeous . . . I feel the need to take one of her online workshops coming on!!!

That`s all from me today folks, thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it from the heart.
Big hugs

Craft Stamper Take it, Make it February Inspiration . . .

Stopping by with my inspiration project for
and the theme
You can find all the details on the main blog here.

" Buttons and Doodahs "
I combined a few things that I love to create my buttons and doodahs ~
Air dry clay,
Crafters Workshop Stencil,
Dina Wakley One for the Gals Stamp Set
 { I used the words },
My Minds Eye yummy papers
 . . . . Coffee to paint with  . . .
they smell heavenly even after having a spray off varnish!
Quick easy project, just roll out the clay and pop the stencil on top before rolling over it again.
Take your shape cutters and cut to your hearts content before leaving them overnight to dry.
I love painting with coffee, just add a little or more water to achieve different shades, it dries real quick allowing you to apply more layers.
A quick spray of Gloss Varnish and all that`s left to do is embellish with a word and create a few tags.
You can gift them or use them on your artwork, cards, journals, layouts . . . or just keep them to look at, lol!
I`ve used one of my hearts already on a painting, here`s a sneaky peek . . .
I hope I have inspired you to have a go.
Be sure and check out the rest of the teams fabulous creations on the main blog here.

Linking up to the lovely people over at Unity Stamp Co. for Friends with Flair ~ script stamp on the tags which is my go to stamp to add a little interest.
Have a great weekend
Big hugs

Pan Pastel UK Challenge ~ Love is in the air

Hellooo and Good morning to you all,
it`s time  for a new challenge over at
the theme for the next two weeks ~
" Love is in the air "
I would love you to meet another of my doodle girls
" Valentine "
She has met her soul mate and wants to let him know she loves him!
With the help of a pencil and a doodle doo it was time to bring her out my head and onto canvas.
Mixing Pan Pastels with the colourless blender or brushing some onto a tile and using water to mix along the way.
Some words printed out to say
which is also the title of my favorite novel by Cecelia Ahern
{ if you haven`t read it or seen the movie .. you have`s brilliant! }
She was talking to me by now and wanted to tell her story . . .
soooo, I scribbled it all down on the background and across her skirt using a Graph it White Shaker pen . . .

You are my soul mate
My happily ever after
You are the glue that keeps us stuck together

. . . scribbled because I don`t want everything I have written to be seen, words from the heart.
I hope you like her and hopefully inspired you along the way.
Be sure and check out the rest of the teams projects on the main blog.
Can`t wait to see what you all create!
Thank you for looking
